Replacement & Return Policy

At MerchNique, customer satisfaction is our priority. Since all products are custom printed on-demand, they are made specifically for you. Our policy is tailored accordingly and complies with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and E-Commerce Rules, 2020 (India) and FTC consumer protection guidelines (USA).
Region-Specific Return Windows
- 🇮🇳 India (fulfilled by Qikink) — 7 days from delivery
- 🇺🇸 USA (fulfilled by Printify) — 30 days from delivery
Record your unboxing! An unboxing video is mandatory for all replacement and return claims. Without it, we may not be able to process your request.
Eligible for Replacement
You may request a free replacement within the applicable return window (7 days for India, 30 days for USA) from delivery if:
- The product has a manufacturing defect — print misalignment, misprinting, fabric defect, or stitching issues
- You received a wrong item — different product or design than what you ordered
- The product was damaged during shipping — courier mishandling
If a replacement of the same product is not available, a full refund will be issued per our Refund Policy.
NOT Eligible for Replacement or Return
- Change of mind or personal preference — Custom print-on-demand products cannot be returned simply because you changed your mind
- Wrong size ordered by customer — If you ordered the wrong size, this is not a manufacturing defect. Please check our Size Guide before ordering. Size exchanges are not available as each product is printed fresh.
- Size tolerance of ±0.5 inches — A measurement tolerance of half an inch is standard in apparel manufacturing and is not grounds for replacement
- Colour variation — Slight differences between the design on your screen and the printed product are inherent to digital printing (DTG/DTF). Colours in print may vary from what you see on screen due to differences in monitors, screen calibration, and the printing process itself. This is not considered a defect.
- Products washed, worn, or altered — Any product that has been used or modified
- Products without original packaging — Please retain the courier cover and product packaging until you are fully satisfied
- Claims without unboxing video — If we cannot verify the cause of damage, we may not be able to process the claim
- Damage caused during unboxing — Products damaged by scissors or sharp objects while opening, unless an unboxing video clearly shows the product was already damaged
Proof Requirements (Mandatory)
To process any replacement claim, you must provide:
- Unboxing video — A continuous video of opening the sealed package and inspecting the product. This is the most critical proof.
- Clear photos — At least 3 images of the product showing the defect or damage
- Packaging photos — Images of the outer courier cover (especially for transit damage)
Without an unboxing video, we cannot verify whether the damage occurred during shipping or after delivery. Claims without video proof may be denied.
How to Request a Replacement
- Contact us within the return window (7 days India / 30 days USA)
- Email support@merchnique.com with your order ID, unboxing video, and photos
- Our team will review and respond within 48 hours
- If approved, we will ship a replacement at no cost to you
Claims after the return window may be considered but could incur reprinting and reshipping charges.
Order Cancellation
You may cancel your order only before it enters production. Since products are custom printed, production can begin within minutes of order confirmation.
- Cancel immediately via the MerchNique app (My Orders → Cancel) or email support
- Once order status moves to "Processing" or beyond, cancellation is not possible
- Successful cancellations receive a full refund
Package Damaged at Delivery
If the package appears damaged when the courier arrives, please note the damage in the courier's delivery remarks before accepting. This creates an official record that helps expedite your claim.
Tips for a Smooth Experience
- Always record your unboxing — press record before you open the sealed package
- Keep all packaging — retain the courier cover, product bag, and tags until satisfied
- Check size chart before ordering — our Size Guide has detailed measurements for every product
- Inspect immediately — check your product promptly to stay within the claim window (7 days India / 30 days USA)
Refund Process
