This document is a working draft written to be accurate about how the store operates. It has not yet been reviewed by a legal professional, and it will be before launch.
Prices and taxes
All prices are in Indian rupees and include GST at the applicable rate. The total shown on the checkout page before you confirm is the total you pay: shipping, any cash-on-delivery fee and tax are itemised there, and nothing is added after you confirm.
Orders
An order is accepted when payment is confirmed, or for cash on delivery when the order is confirmed. If we cannot fulfil an order after accepting it — a stock error, a printing failure, an undeliverable pincode — it is cancelled and refunded in full, and you are told why.
Product images
Photographs are of the actual product. Colour can vary slightly between screens, and print placement on a printed-to-order garment can vary by a small margin. Neither is a defect.
Intellectual property
The designs, artwork, photography and the Merchnique name are ours. Buying a garment does not transfer any right to reproduce the artwork on it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Indian law, and disputes fall to the courts of the seller’s registered jurisdiction.
